Come join us to sail on some 'big water'!!

Crescent Sail Yacht Club, home of Thistle Fleet #2, is undergoing some major harbor improvements this Fall. Due to this Icebreaker will be held at North Star Sail Club. This club is in the northern part of Lake Saint Clair about 10 miles North of Crescent. Launching will be at the mouth of the Clinton River at the DNR Ramp ($6 per day...if there is an attendant). Registration will be at NSSC and the skippers meeting will be at the launch facility (about 1/2 mile east). This year it will be a Thistle only event. The registration fee will be $30.

Go to NSSC BEFORE going to the launch area for registration and logistic instructions (pull into the grassy lot just East of NSSC club house).  After racing on Saturday we will be taking the boats on trailer 1/2 mile to NSSC for overnight storage.

Dinner is $15.00 for adults and $?? for kids (need to find out). It is an all you can eat steak dinner. I have heard the steaks are HUGE! Please let me know if you will be having dinner so we can give the organizer a count (Great Lakes single Handed Society ).  If there are vegetarians coming that want to join for dinner please let me know and we can make arrangements.

Complimentary coffee, juice, bagel and/or donuts available both mornings for the competitors and volunteers.

Breakfast and Lunch will only be available on Sunday. Basic grill fair...I hear they often make a pretty good perch sandwich.
