Rigging Pictures of #171628.  Everything you see here was approved at the Laser Radial Worlds by Jean-Luc Michen (VP Laser World Council) himself!

Note the small wichard captive pin shackle on the gooseneck fitting.  This allows all of the rigging to be removed to go back and forth from the radial and full rigs.

Here you see another shackle for the vang and a quick pin for the cunningham.  There is a thin line tying the pins of the shackle and the pin together to keep from losing them.

Here you see a loop in the vang tail with its tail tied to the centerboard handle so it is always within reach.

The rudder hold down purchase is tucked between the rudder pintles.

It may be hard to see but the tiller is notched to allow the line fully gold the tiller in.  There is no pin used.

The block along with lots of McLube on the boom makes it so no shockcord is require.  This shackle also has a captive pin.  I had a Harken Clew hook here for a while but was nervous about it coming undone at a big regatta.  Also when you tie it you can get the clew closer to the boom.

Note the shockcord for the centerboard is held down by the plastic clip in the mast hold down system.

Adjustable padded strap and another braided handle.

The old cunningham cleat make a nice place to put a keep line to hold the outhaul up.  It is a small piece of shockcord.  Also note the soft strap for the mainsheet.

The Ultimate Regatta Van!  The bench on the left keeps the blades safe and doubles as a bed.  The 2 parts of the bench are connected by a long piano hinge and the bench can be removed and folded up so the rear seat can be installed (rare...but it happens)
